Aftershock are a collective of some of Rotherham’s best musical and creative minds aiming to redefine modern music with their unique sound incomparable with any other band. They blend the classic sense of unity in bands such as Oasis and Arctic Monkeys with the modern power of bands like The K’s, Nothing But Thieves and Foo Fighters.

 

The band consists of frontman Charlie Cook (Guitar and Lead Vocals), Callum Concannon (Guitar and Backing Vocals) Mason Bradbury (Drums) and Eddie Talbot (Bass Guitar). Each member brings their own unique flair to the table, ranging from classic Britpop anthems, experimental alt rock and punishing metal blended with dreamy shoegaze soundscapes. Together this perfectly fits in its own spot in the modern music scene.

 

Aftershock landed their first show supporting the incredible Alvarez Kings, selling out the iconic Yellow Arch Studios venue in Sheffield. An upcoming festival slot at York’s “Jukebox Festival” is reserved for an Aftershock appearance. They also have an upcoming support slot with Rotherham’s own LPMC at the Cutlers Arms.

 

Aftershock Studio sessions are experimental and innovative with a goal to create new soundscapes never before heard in the rock scene. With a debut single on the way and a debut EP following shortly after, Aftershock plans to cement themselves as a prominent force amongst current bands like Wunderhorse, Keo, The Reytons, Inhaler and Fontaines D.C.
